Well, since the MaxFisch gods, in all their wisdom, decided to limit searches to 3 months or less (and I may have missed it, but methinks only the last 3 months of posts are now being kept, on a rolling basis) it started to make me sad that my reviews of MistressAlexNYC are no longer available. So I am going to remedy the situation by posting this new review, this time based on seeing and knowing her for over 2 ½ years. I fully recognize that a review from a long-standing acolyte has, for some people, limited appeal…and I confess to having that same bias myself. So I’m going do something a little different and try to describe how our session dynamic evolved into what it is today - because sessioning on a consistent basis with Mistress Alex is truly a journey well worth taking, on any number of levels.

I first saw Mistress Alex almost by accident. I had been sessioning irregularly with a very famous, now semi-retired, Domme. We always had trouble matching schedules, but when she had a serious automobile accident en route to one of our sessions, I started to think that maybe the God(esses) were trying to tell us something. So I started thinking that maybe I should not session anymore. But it was hard to keep it corked up. So I saw another famous Mistress and had a nice time, liked her immensely, but in truth I was not touched deeply by her. All the while I had been studying Mistress Alex’s website the previous 4-5 months. I finally came to the conclusion that I was not sure about her Mistress skills (not having seen or read about her), but that she was surely an interesting person that I wanted to meet. (and complicating my reasoning was the fact that she formerly worked out of a dungeon that I was never a fan of.) Anyway, our first session, to be bluntly honest, was not nirvana. When Mistress Alex walked in the room, I noted a striking resemblance to my ex, which I rudely blurted out….and, well, what can I say? We got off to a bad start. As the session progressed, I never really relaxed, but she was the consummate professional, trying different things, gauging my reactions, etc. I walked out knowing that I had just met an amazing and brilliant person, but also wondering if I should see her again.

Immediately after the session, an e-mail exchange began that really blew me away. I enjoy good writing and reading Mistress Alex’s notes are always a joy. But more importantly, she expressed in her initial e-mails a sincere desire to understand what makes me tick…and in doing so gave me a few clues on what makes her tick. Mistress Alex does not view her clients as inferior beings (unless that’s your kink, of course). Rather, she recognizes that we are all complicated creatures (to use her terms) and that all the irregular pieces of our personalities fit together in a fascinating mosaic. Well, by the time I went for our second session, I just knew we were going to have a great time…and we did. When I left the play space I was so happy I did not know what to do with myself, and it was all made possible because Mistress Alex not only employed her vast intuitive skills but also took the time to learn about me.

Each succeeding session built on the proceeding time together. Limits were expanded, new thoughts understood, new experiences enjoyed. My limits are now her limits. Mistress Alex knows me so well that I never worry or hope that she will do this or that; I know that whatever activity she chooses will be the perfect thing for me to be doing at that particular moment. This is quite a change for me. Knowing Mistress Alex has allowed me to completely “let go”. Well, I’m not into writing “play-by-play” reviews, but let me say that Mistress Alex excels in many areas including bondage (which she executes effortlessly), torture (which never fails to bring a smile to her face), dragon-tailing (which makes her breath heavily in excitement) and intelligent mental torment. Many of you know that Mistress Alex is a long-time lifestyle player and IMO that gives her sessions an air of authenticity. She is a regular at Suspension, Byte, Smack and Cat and enjoys all aspects of the lifestyle.

My advice to you is this: write her at mistressalex@myrealityplane.com or go speak with her at an event. She is very approachable, as long as you are respectful and appropriate, and by making a good impression, you will have better luck booking time with her. Mistress Alex is careful about who she plays with; she is not an insta-Domme who will see anyone who inquires. But it’s worth the effort. Trust me.
